The great futuristic tale is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, a tale of the submarine vessel Nautilus and her captain, Nemo, a self-exiled scientist in pursuit of knowledge. The ocean contains an enormous, unexplored inventory of medicinal cures, unlimited energy, and the desalinated drinking water that each of us needs in exactly the same amount each day to survive.

On shore or on water, fishing has not and does not appear to be a widespread occupational choice for women. Surveys found 70% disinterest based on a number of barriers. Onshore involvement revealed equally negative circumstance. The report confirmed that despite cultural and economic differences, these conclusions were true in both industrial and developing nations worldwide.
